Here is the link to the Sunday Worship Service November 21, 2021 - "Strange Company".
On Sunday, November 21st, we will be worshiping at First Presbyterian, Stirling at 10 am. We will be indoorsand so we will all wear masks over both nose and mouth; we will be social distancing; and we will sing quietly behind our masks. We will continue to sign-in in case contact tracing is necessary.

2021 11 21 a serfs tale

Our special mission for the month of November is the Angel Tree Program of the Plainfield Salvation Army. For the past several years, we have been supporting this program which provides Christmas gifts of clothing and toys to children in the Plainfield area whose families are struggling. The “wish lists” of the children will be available shortly, along with a due date. This year gifts may be purchased and delivered to the church, or purchased online and sent directly to the Plainfield Salvation Army. If you cannot shop for the gifts yourself, financial support is always welcome and others will do the shopping. Call Rosanne McGraw if you have any questions about the program.

Yours in Christ,

Barbara Aspinall

2021 10 31 175 anniversary

Our special mission for the month of October is Homeless Solutions, a vital ministry in Morristown which serves those who find themselves, for various reasons, without a place to live. A family can find themselves homeless and their bank account depleted very quickly, if the major wage earner has a medical crisis or is disabled and there is nobody to help. Homeless Solutions provides temporary housing to such a family until they are back on their feet again. Homeless Solutions also provides education and counseling, always with the goal of helping people become independent once again. Homeless Solutions addresses the problem of homelessness in a variety of ways – temporary shelter, transitional housing and permanent low-cost housing as well as a variety of educational and social services. To participate in this ministry, you can send a check to the church labeled “mission” or “Homeless Solutions.
